• 5.0 out of 5 stars from Davis Hewitt -- Don't Let The Narcissists Win! : This a very useful book about dealing with narcissists. These people are often very successful and admired in US society. You need look no further than the football fields and basketball courts to see the the success of such "heroes" who have been preened and petted from their High Schools days. No amount of success or wealth seems to deprive them of their status of "victims". Corporate America also has plenty of these folks, usually in high positions. This book provides good analysis on their vulnerabilities and shortcomings which they often know, deep inside. This book provides valuable insights into dealing and coping with such people. Such as the many types and the traits and tricks that come with each of them, and so much more. Whether it’s someone in your life, or someone who has been in your life and you’d like to understand better so you won’t allow it to show up in your life again or stay for very long. Or maybe it’s someone in your family that you have to see often and you can understand what’s happening so you can feel better about yourself and know that you are enough, you are not to blame, and you are worthy of being treated well. The author clearly knows firsthand all about this subject and obviously did thorough research in order to provide some in-depth information to help others avoid some of the difficult times she went through, which she openly shares. I should know-- last year I wrote a novel, and as part of my research for the villain, I read a LOT of such books, so I feel well qualified to review this one.
